Ferrari has revealed a one-off Daytona SP3 set to be auctioned during Monterey Car Week. The design is the work of Maranello’s Taylor Made division, with proceeds from the sale going to global education projects supported by the newly formed Ferrari Foundation.
Officially designated “599+1”, the car features a head-turning two-tone exterior, combining exposed carbon fibre with Giallo Modena paint, embossed with a yellow Ferrari script running across the bonnet and roofline. A gloss black finish is also applied to the splitter, sills and rear diffuser. The look is inspired by the 2023 Las Vegas F1 livery, reinterpreted with “a more graphic, asymmetrical approach.”

On display in the cockpit is a new technical fabric made from recycled polyester yarn sourced from used tyres, which will likely find its way into future production cars - even Ferrari isn’t immune from the drive toward sustainability.
Other details include a unique Prancing Horse motif and Formula 1-grade carbon fibre across the dashboard and steering column. Should the winning bidder need a reminder, a custom plaque denotes the car’s exclusive “599+1” identity.

Mechanically, the one-off SP3 remains unchanged. Power is courtesy of a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 producing 829bhp at 9,250rpm, alongside 697Nm of torque. Dual-clutch gearbox aside, unlike Ferrari’s more “mainstream” hypercars, the SP3 has shorn hybrid technology in favour of purity. 0-62mph takes 2.85 seconds, and the quoted top speed is ‘in excess of 211mph’.
All proceeds from the auction will support initiatives selected by the Ferrari Foundation. A key mission is post-disaster educational rebuilding, such as the restoration of the Aveson Charter School in California, which burned down during the recent wildfires.
While the Daytona SP3 remains one of Ferrari’s most exclusive models, this one-off underscores the collector mentality with a genuine purpose. Maranello has not yet speculated if any further Icona models will be revived in a similar fashion.
