Hennessey Revolution LF is a 2,031bhp Manual Hypercar

Hennessey has pulled the wraps off its most expensive Venom F5 yet – a one-off manual commission unveiled at The Quail under the new ‘Maverick’ banner.
Dubbed the Revolution LF, it pairs the firm’s 2,031bhp Fury V8 with a bespoke six-speed gated manual and an entirely new carbon monocoque designed to accommodate it. Until now, the only manual iteration had been the 1,817bhp F5 M Roadster.
The tub, named XCell_2, brings gains in stiffness and geometry, however the main purpose is to reposition the footwells to make room for the clutch pedal and improve ergonomics. The trio of aluminium pedals are now floor-mounted and laser-etched, while the driving position has been re-worked to suit the manual gearbox. Hennessy states the LF is the most engaging and exciting F5 yet.

The new bodywork previews the forthcoming Evolution aero package, comprising a deeper splitter, reshaped dive planes, revised front wing louvres, a new rear deck incorporating a lip spoiler and a full-width rear wing standing 290mm tall. All this results in greater downforce and improved cooling for track use.
The suspension hasn’t escaped attention either, with new adaptive hardware claimed to offer greater body control while retaining ride compliance.
The LF’s paint scheme is as eye-catching as the 2,000bhp output. The carbon body is tinted Cocoa Brown with a River Sand metallic stripe, while the interior has been ‘reimagined around analog tactility’.

The attention to detail extends as far as the parking brake switch, which has been ‘engineered to deliver a bolt-action feel.’ If a button is boasted about, expectation for the shift-action of the H-pattern manual will be sky-high. The gearlever itself is milled from aluminium, and features luminous infills that absorb energy in the day in order to light up at night.
Only a single example of the Revolution LF will ever be built, its creation inaugurating the Maverick division for bespoke customer projects. Yet the technology it carries will filter into production. The Venom F5 Evolution, also shown in Monterey, adopts the same aero package, adaptive suspension, revised interior and the latest 2,031bhp specification as standard. In a similar fashion to Pagani, these are updates existing F5 owners can retrofit.
