Skoda Enyaq vRS Facelift Keeps Pace with New Tech and Styling

The restyled electric flagship offers the same 335bhp, gains updated infotainment, and a new face. It returns as an SUV and Coupé with over 340 miles of range.

The restyled electric flagship offers the same 335bhp, gains updated infotainment, and a new face. It returns as an SUV and Coupé with over 340 miles of range.
Completing the mid-life updates for the flagship electric SUV, the Enyaq vRS returns with identical performance, but new styling and interior technology. Retaining the dual-motor setup that was introduced in 2024, the vRS delivers 335bhp and 402lb-ft (545Nm) of torque.
It can hit 62mph in 5.4 seconds from rest, making it the joint-quickest Skoda to date on par with the new Elroq vRS. However, its identical 111mph limited top speed also makes it the joint second-slowest car from the Czech manufacturer. The fastest Skoda on sale remains the Octavia vRS, with its top speed of 155mph.

Power comes from a 79kWh usable battery which can accept DC rapid charging at up to 185kW. This takes 26 minutes to top-up from 10-80%, while a flat-to-full charge at home will take around 12 hours. When using public AC charging stations, the car can make use of 11kW inputs to re-energise slightly quicker.
Bidirectional charging features as standard, with the Enyaq able to power homes, or other electric cars if required. The maximum range is yet to be confirmed, but Skoda are projecting at least 340 miles, meaning a near-identical range to the pre-facelift model.

While little within the chassis has changed, the exterior tweaks are clear to see. The brand’s new “Modern Solid” design language has added split headlights, and a narrower upper grille flanked by the separate running lights. Within the illuminated “Tech Deck Face” are the forward-facing sensors for the active cruise control.
As with all new vRS models, the exterior trim is high-gloss black as standard, with the window surrounds, mirrors, roof rails, side sills, tailgate spoiler, diffuser, and model badging all taking the dark hue. In keeping with tradition, a full-width reflector strip features on the rear bumper.

At each corner, 20” wheels come as standard, while 21” aerodynamically-optimised rims are available as an option; these are the only places on the car where the Skoda logo can be found. All models get a vRS-specific suspension setup which is lowered by 15mm at the front, and 10mm at the rear.
Optionally available is the Dynamic Chassis Control adaptive suspension which has been further tweaked for the facelift, and offers 15-stages of adjustability for the dampers. Regardless of suspension choice, a revised steering system, and enlarged brakes with two-piston calipers enhance stopping power on the front axle.

As before, the Enyaq vRS will be available in SUV and Coupé bodystyles, with the latter trading 15 litres of boot space for its curvaceous roof; luggage capacities are 585 litres, and 570 litres respectively. Unlike many SUV-coupés, the Enyaq loses no rear headroom, with both variants claiming 990mm from the base of the rear bench to the headlining.
The seats are upholstered in leather and artificial leather in the vRS Suite interior, while the vRS Design option adds microfibre suede, and lime green contrast stitching.

A heat pump is on the options list, and we’d highly recommend ticking this box in the UK. An electrically-retractable tow bar is available, allowing the Enyaq to make the most of its 1,400kg braked towing capacity.
The updated infotainment system is made up of a 5” instrument cluster, and a 13” central touchscreen, both of which feature vRS-specific graphics. A head-up display, smartphone integration, four 45W USB-C chargers, a 12-speaker Canton sound system, two-piece electrically adjustable and heated front seats, heated steering wheel, three-zone climate control, privacy glass, and rear window blinds all feature as standard.

Pricing for Skoda’s refreshed electric flagship has been revealed ahead of the order books opening in June 2025. The Enyaq vRS SUV will start from £51,660, with the Coupé priced from £53,560, and deliveries set to commence later this summer.
It’ll have to compete with the new smart #5 Brabus that offers an extra 302bhp, and is expected to be in the same price bracket when it goes on sale later this year. However, the new Enyaq vRS remains the only performance car in its class to offer an ice scraper, and sleeper-style as standard - provided any colour other than Hyper Green is specified.
