The new engine will extend the British firms’ 25-year association with the V12. Boasting an incredible 835 PS (824 bhp) 1000 Nm of torque (738 lb-ft) the new twin-turbocharged V12 could become a major USP for the brand with rivals looking to alternative powertrains as emissions legislation tightens its noose. The result of a complete redesign, targeting optimisation and improvement, the new engine refines every stage of the internal combustion process to achieve unprecedented performance and efficiency.

Hardware highlights include a strengthened cylinder block, conrods, and redesigned cylinder heads incorporating re-profiled camshafts. New intake and exhaust ports plus repositioned spark plugs and new higher flowrate fuel injectors deliver greater power and efficiency. In addition, new higher-speed, reduced-inertia turbochargers deliver increased performance and throttle response.

The new V12 engine will remain hand-built and is set to feature only in Aston Martin’s most exclusive models, in strictly limited numbers. It will make its first appearance in a new flagship model that debuts later in 2024 when further technical details will be shared.
