With back-to-back F1 World Constructors’ Championship titles secured, McLaren’s Special Operations division has once again created a special edition to mark the occasion. Based on the Artura Spider, the MCL39 Championship Edition takes its name from the F1 car that brought the constructors’ trophy to Woking for the tenth time, and took Lando Norris to his first drivers’ title.
The car gets a hand-painted black and orange colour scheme, with orange highlights on the front splitter, and rear diffuser. Orange brake callipers are housed within 10-spoke lightweight wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres. The number 10 is proudly presented beneath the air intakes, encircled by ten stars, and detailed outlines of every McLaren to claim an F1 Constructors’ Championship.

The sills of the carbon fibre tub display the victories scored by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri in the 2025 season, with both drivers signing each special edition model. The luggage compartment goes into more detail, with a special commemorative plaque listing the wins, pole positions, and fastest laps scored by the MCL39.
Within the cabin, the black and orange theme continues, with black leather and alcantara contrasted by bright orange stitching. As with the exterior detail, the number 10 embroidered into the headrests is surrounded by stars - one for each constructors’ title claimed by McLaren. Even the 12 o’clock marker on the steering wheel is marked with the number 10.

Mechanically, the special edition is unchanged from the regular Artura Spider. Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 and an electric motor, the plug-in hybrid supercar offers 671bhp and 531lb-ft (720Nm), a top speed of 205mph and an electric-only range of up to 21 miles. From a standing start, the car reaches 62mph in 3.0 seconds, 124mph in 8.4 seconds, and 186mph in 21.6 seconds. Equally fast in its operation is the carbon fibre folding roof, which can open or close in just 11 seconds, while driving at speeds up to 31mph.
Only ten examples of the Artura Spider MCL39 Championship Edition will be built, with each owner getting an exclusive brand experience as part of their purchase. No prices are quoted, but we expect that the F1-inspired special model commands a significant increase over the £221,000 required for a standard model.
